Tips
1.As we are cooking the dal in a kadai and not in cooker. So soaking the dal reduces the cooking time.
2.To know dal is cooked or not just take the dal and press it. If you feel its soft and tender then your dal is ready.
3.If you feel the dal is not yet cooked you can add little more water and cook for some more time.
4.I don't prefer adding onion garlic in daily cooking but if you want you can add.
5.I have soaked the dal so for cooking I have added 1 cup water. But if you don't soak the dal then add 2 cups water.
When do we add 1 cup Semolina. Is it added by mistake??
