In the scorching heat of summers the first thing that comes to your mind is Lemon Juice (or Lemonade). Lemons have a lot of health benefits and are a great source of Vitamin C. They help in enhancing your beauty and keep your skin younger. Lemons are also good for digestion. The recipe that I have prepared here is of Strawberry Lemonade, just giving a little twist to our good old Lemonade. I have also added little pepper powder for some peppiness. Fruits like strawberries reduce the risk of heart diseases, diabetes and cancer. The combination of lemons and strawberries gives this drink an excellent flavor and is best for summers. So lets proceed step by step.
To prepare our Strawberry Lemonade we first need to prepare our Lemon Juice or the lemonade. Take slightly warm plain water in a glass.
Squeeze the lemon and add powdered sugar and mix well. If you have sugar crystals you might want to boil the water a little bit to allow the sugar to dissolve easily. Now add little salt and pepper powder and stir with a spoon. Your lemonade is ready. Keep in the refrigerator for 15 minutes and allow to chill.
Take some fresh red strawberries, remove the leaves and cut them into half. Save the hulled part of the strawberries and some lemon wedges for decoration.
Now transfer the cut strawberries to a juicer and add the lemonade and some ice cubes
Whiz the strawberries in the lemonade for 2-3 minutes along with the ice cubes.
Strawberry Lemonade is ready. Pour the lemonade in 2 chilled glasses.
Decorate the glasses with strawberry pieces and lemon wedges. Served the Strawberry Lemonade fresh and chilled.
