Recipe of Farali Bhel | How to Make Farali Bhel

Unknown | Thursday, June 05, 2014 | |
You have had bhel with puffed rice(murmura) many times. This is similar to that but its Farali. We can eat this during Vrat/Fasting. Home Made Potato Chips are fried and we add boiled potatoes, chillies and tomatoes to make it Farali Bhel. You can even add Coriander peanut chutney and Dates Tamarind chutney. In this recipe I have not added any chutney. Its quick and easy dish to make during vrat. You have to serve it immediately because it will turn soggy after sometime. Check my other Farali Recipes. So lets proceed step by step.
I have used home made chips for making bhel but you can even use the ready made Farali chivda available in market. The Chips are made during the season and stored in containers. Deep fried and used as when required.

You require very few handy ingredients. Fried chips, boiled and mashed potato, chopped tomato, fried peanuts, chopped chillies, salt, red chilli powder, lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.

In a bowl add the fried chips, all the ingredients and mix well. Farali Bhel is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
