Watermelon juice is a perfect juice for the rising temperatures. Its a popular belief that watermelon is just made of sugar and water. But it also has a lot of nutritional value. Watermelon juice is great for skin. In summers alternative to water intake is watermelon juice. Because it has 90% water so it helps us in hydrating. Watermelon juice has many other benefits like its good for eyes, reduces fat, good for digestion etc. Watermelon juice even tastes great by adding little fresh mint leaves also. But I prefer the original plain watermelon juice. So lets proceed step by step.
Watermelon that is firm, heavy and symmetrical without soft spots is the best.
From inside the watermelon should be red in colour, juicy and sweet at taste.
For making watermelon juice you just require nice fresh red watermelon, salt and pepper powder. Wash and cut the watermelon into half. Chop it into small chunks and remove seeds from the watermelon pieces.
Place the watermelon chunks, pepper powder, ice cubes & salt in a juicer and whizz for a minute. Blend it well so that there are no chunks at all
Strain the juice.
Pour the juice in chilled glass and enjoy.
