Recipe of Beetroot and Carrot Soup | How to make Beetroot and Carrot Soup

Unknown | Tuesday, May 06, 2014 |
Beetroot and carrot soup is very healthy so its best for babies as well as adults. Beet and Carrot have a lot of nutritional value and can be used in multiple ways. They can be grated raw on a salad, added to a juice, marinated and used as a side dish or boiled into a soup. Carrots are great when eaten raw but their nutritional value increases when they are boiled. I choose to give my baby the best by giving him boiled. This beetroot carrot soup recipe is for babies. I have a 10 month baby at home so you will find a lot of baby recipes coming from me. Make sure to put your baby a bib before serving this soup because the beetroot colour is very strong. So lets proceed step by step.

Wash the beetroots and carrots and peel them. Cut them into halves and boil them in pressure cooker with about 1 cup of water for 2 whistles. After they cool grind them into a smooth puree. Strain the soup and reheat it. Serve lukewarm to your baby (Straining of soup is required for babies below 6 months).
